Maxtend GRPS Modem

The Maxtend® wireless modem is designed to be installed in a shipping container and transmit data via GPRS communications. The data is supplied by a Data Logging Controller mounted elsewhere.

The modem is battery powered and is connected to the Data Logging Controller by means of an interface cable, RS-232.

Main functionality is infrequently transmitting data transparently toward remote server through GPRS and TCP/IP protocol. In the meanwhile, the modem receives and keeps data sent by Data Logging Controller.
